Through AWARE, two beginning filmmakers have received the chance to realize a short film, gaining experience and building a portfolio. This year, the two chosen projects to be developed will be ‘Aandacht’ by Yassine Merzaq and ‘Genoeg’ by Freddie Lian.

The kick-off of this development trajectory was Monday the 6th of March at the EYE film museum, and the shooting of the films itself started this week on the 18th of April. The projects are planned to be finalized in the summer! Aware is part of the funding project De Ontmoeting.
