At the premiére of Nummer Achttien that took place on Friday the 27^th of January, we announced our collaboration with ‘Land Van Ons’ to compensate for the film production’s CO2 emmisions. Land Van Ons is a citizens’ collective that buys farmland and restores its biodiversity and landscape. Together with farmers they transition towards nature-inclusive farming and allow life to return to the land. Smarthouse has bought 180m2 of land on behalf of Nummer Achttien, 1m2 of land for each guest that attended the première of the film (https://landvanons.nl/).
